Yale University Sterling Law Building

Constructed in 1931 and designed by James Gamble Rodgers, the expansive brick and stone Sterling Law Building occupies an entire city block in New Haven, Connecticut. In 2015, DBVW Architects was hired by Yale University to develop repair recommendations and oversee construction as part of the Yale Law School’s annual repair and restoration program at the Sterling Law Building. DBVW was able to bring their knowledge and specialized experience to the project, having previously worked on two adjacent Rodgers buildings: Sterling Memorial Library and the Hall of Graduate Studies.
