URI College of Pharmacy Furniture Package

The University of Rhode Island hired DBVW Architects to develop the furniture package and specifications for a variety of spaces within their new 130,000 square foot College of Pharmacy. The furniture package considers URI’s interactive team-based approach to pharmacy education as well as the College’s focus on integrated technology. The building is to be a key component of the campus’s new North District, home for the University’s life sciences and health-related studies. The furniture package needed to be sophisticated, durable, and reflective of the high-tech environment. The new building consists of college teaching laboratories and classrooms, research laboratories, faculty and staff offices, administrative offices, as well as various social interactive spaces.
