Union Crossing Lofts

DBVW worked with Lawrence Community Works on Union Crossing Phase II, a 132,000 sf former textile mill with impressive views of the Merrimack River and the North Canal. Working collaboratively with the developer and community stakeholders, DBVW rehabilitated this historic mill to accommodate a mix of uses including 73 units of affordable housing and significant commercial space. Because of Lawrence Community Works’ focus on family housing, the building contains two and three-bedroom units that are family friendly, with tall ceilings, generous kitchens, and effective sound separation between units. The project utilizes State and Federal Historic Tax Credits.
