Rhode Island Archives and History Center
DBVW has been working closely with the Secretary of the State’s Office on a Site Selection Study for a new Rhode Island Archives and History Center (RIAHC). The proposed new RIAHC facility will house the permanent records of the Rhode Island State Archives, as well as collections of the Rhode Island Historical Society, and the most valuable and fragile historically permanent records from the state’s 39 local municipalities. The study includes programming, site evaluation and design concepts.
