Pell Chafee Performance Center
Inside a 1927 former bank building, a decorative vaulted ceiling fifty feet above the floor had long been concealed by a dropped ceiling. The banking hall was restored to create a flexible performance space for graduate students in the Brown University / Trinity Repertory Company Consortium. DBVW Architects worked with the client to create rehearsal, classroom, and support space in the basement of this historic bank building.

Sean has been with DBVW Architects for nearly 20 years. Sean’s experience ranges from higher education to multifamily housing to cultural to commercial design. No matter the project type, Sean’s clients can depend on him to manage the quality, schedule and budget to exacting standards. Sean is on the Board at Trinity Repertory Company and has served on several committees at The Gordon School. He enjoys time outside the office with his wife (who is also an architect) and son.
