Pearl Street Lofts

Converting this varied assemblage of buildings dating from the 1850’s to the 1970’s involved selectively demolishing portions of the complex that detracted from its historic character and designing a new entrance pavilion that enlivens an outdoor area and provides a striking entrance to the residences. DBVW Architects designed the loft-style residential units to feature exposed brick, mezzanines, and open floor plans. Live/work, commercial, and industrial space was also incorporated to further the revitalization of the neighborhood.
