By removing drop ceilings and exposing concrete T-beams, DBVW transformed a banal space into an exciting work environment. The new 21,00 square foot workspace is light-filled with custom millwork, modern collaborative meeting rooms, and colorful graphics. This provides an appropriate environment for Dimeo Construction, one of Rhode Island’s most well-respected and forward-thinking construction companies. The new design features an inviting entrance stair and ramp configuration that celebrates the Dimeo brand and creates a hub for the overall layout of the office. Exposed girders inform the primary circulation across the office, and the T-beams lend rhythm and texture to the space. Interior glass walls with sliding doors allow daylight to filter in to interior spaces, where the collaborative workspaces provide opportunities for the exchange of ideas.
