Blackstone Valley Gateways Affordable Housing

DBVW Architects worked with Pawtucket Central Falls Development Corporation to develop 151 housing units and over 20,500 sf of commercial space around a proposed commuter train station site. Phase I provided 33 affordable rental apartments by restoring several existing multi-family houses and constructing 1 new 3-family residence and 2 new mixed-use multi-family residential/commercial buildings. Phase II consists of 41 new affordable rental units across 10 scattered sites in Pawtucket and Central Falls. The housing units created range from one to four bedrooms in size, creating affordable housing opportunities for households of varying sizes.
