That’s a Wrap: Lowell Community Health Center, Phase II
Lowell Community Health Center (LCHC) recently opened its new Dental and Eye Care Service Center designed by DBVW Architects. This project, which adds 48,000 square feet of health care space to the 100,000 square feet of space that DBVW previously renovated for LCHC, occupies three floors within Mill #6 on Jackson Street.
In addition to creating new vision and dental suites, adult medical departments that were created during Phase I were expanded, and upper floors were prepared as white box spaces for future healthcare or related businesses. DBVW has enjoyed collaborating with LCHC, an incredible community health organization, over the past eight years. LCHC’s mission is “to provide caring, quality and culturally competent health services to the people of Greater Lowell, regardless of their financial status; to reduce health disparities and enhance the health of the Greater Lowell community; and to empower each individual to maximize their overall well-being.”
