Phase I Davis Gardens Complete

The first six of 16 new buildings have now been completed at the Davis Gardens affordable housing development. Families that were displaced from the former Warner Gardens Co-Op Apartments were the first to occupy these apartments. It is expected that all 58 Phase I units will be fully occupied by the end of September 2016. In a press release issued by the Connecticut Housing Finance Authority, CHFA Board Chairwoman and Department of Housing (DOH) Commissioner Evonne M. Klein, said "These kinds of developments embody what Connecticut is working hard to achieve: fostering the creation of inclusive and diverse communities in all areas of the state.” DBVW Architects is proud to be a part of this vital transformation located on 14 acres in the Long Hill neighborhood of Waterbury.
