Over 40 professionals turned out for the first Rhode Island Minority In Architecture & Design (RIMIAD) meet-up event earlier this month. Co-founded by DBVW staff members Moises Valcarcel Gonzalez and Tami Hughes, RIMIAD seeks to create a space for minorities working in architecture and design to meet up and network. DBVW Architects sponsored the event, which was held at Kin Southern Table + Bar in Providence, RI.
