DBVW and Design Week 2019
DESIGNxRI is holding their annual design symposium in mid-September with kick-off events in Providence’s Jewelry District. In celebration of DBVW Architects’ 25th anniversary, we invite you to an open studio happy hour on Friday, September 13th from 4:30 to 6:30pm. Join us and fellow design enthusiasts at 111 Chestnut Street for a drink and immersive virtual reality tours. DESIGN WEEK RI’s Kick-Off Party will continue next door at DesignxRI beginning at 6:30pm.
Additionally, on Tuesday, September 17th at noon, Principal Martha Werenfels will host a DESIGN WEEK Eat & Speak at DBVW’s office. The presentation, “Saving Historic Resources While Building for the Future,” will discuss how DBVW Architects worked closely with two municipalities in Massachusetts to preserve important historic buildings while creating new municipal complexes that contribute to enlivening downtown Plymouth and Taunton.
