Clinton Speaks at South Street Landing Construction Site

Former President Bill Clinton spoke about alternative energy at the South Street Landing construction site today, bringing additional attention to the largest and most complicated development going on in Providence this year.

This $220-million project by Boston-based developer CV Properties will turn the long-vacant building into Brown University administrative offices and a Nursing Education Center for the University of Rhode Island and Rhode Island College. DBVW Architects is collaborating with Tsoi/Kobus & Associates on the historic exterior of the long vacant former South Street power station on the Providence riverfront.
