2020: Looking Back, Moving Forward

We opened our doors for a celebration of DesignxRI’s annual design symposium and DBVW’s 25th Anniversary. We worked with a local Girl Scout troop to envision a future in architecture on STEAM Career Day. We were awarded the Smithfield, RI elementary schools project, Farm Fresh RI’s new Food Hub broke ground, and a new City Hall for Taunton, MA is under construction. Projects completed in 2019 include: William M. Davies, Jr. Career & Technical High School’s renovated Center for Advanced Manufacturing and Bio-Manufacturing Lab, Biomed Center New England, Outer Cape Health Services in Harwich Port and Wellfleet, MA, restoration of the exterior of Connecticut Hall at Yale University, and renovations to Bass Library at Yale. There were also significant milestones, such as Patti Young’s retirement (our very first retiree!).
