Vanderbilt Hall
Located on Yale University’s historic Old Campus, Vanderbilt Hall is a five-story brownstone residence distinguished by a central tower flanked by two symmetrical wings. The project encompassed a comprehensive interior renovation, enhancing the residential suites while modernizing mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. On the exterior, the historic brownstone façade was carefully restored and complemented by a new roofing system at the tower. Additional work included masonry restoration and site improvements within the interior courtyard, passageway, accessibility ramp, and site wall.

Nealia joined DBVW as a Job Captain at the end of 2014. Since then, she has become an essential member of the DBVW historic preservation team serving as project manager for multiple complex projects at Yale University. She is a skilled, detail-oriented architect and also a pleasure to work with. She earned her Bachelor of Science and Master of Architecture degrees from Northeastern University. At the end of the workday, Nealia goes home to her husband, two kids, and her pup - a Puerto Rican street dog that they rescued and now can’t imagine life without!
