Westerly Elementary Schools
DBVW is working with the Town of Westerly and Westerly Public Schools on additions and renovations to the Dunn’s Corner and Springbrook Elementary School. The project gives both schools an interior refresh with updated finishes and paint, new project labs to promote collaborative learning and STEAM, playground improvements, and new fire protection. Work at Dunn’s Corner Elementary School includes an addition for a new cafeteria and kitchen as well as improved site circulation for parent and bus drop-off. Additions for an expanded media center and small group learning spaces are planned for Springbrook Elementary School.

Whether serving as a Project Manager or contributing in the areas of code compliance, zoning regulations, specifications writing, or construction administration, Ashley brings a combination of dedication and exceptional technical expertise to our project teams. For 12 years prior to joining DBVW, Ashley focused on design for primary/secondary educational facilities and public buildings in Rhode Island, Connecticut and Massachusetts. With this substantial educational design experience, Ashley is a leader in the firm’s K-12 School practice and has become a leader within our senior living practice as well. He is a Massachusetts Certified Public Procurement Official (“MCPPO”) and regularly advises DBVW staff members on bidding and delivery of public projects in the Commonwealth.
