Nobis Engineering Corporate Headquarters

Creating dramatic new office space for an engineering firm within a historic mill building involved working within the existing brick and stone walls as well as designing a new 2,000 square foot addition that features a new entrance to the building. A carefully detailed interior fit-out provides work space for 50 employees, while the exterior of the building is fully restored. This project, which was partially funded using State and Federal Historic Tax Credit investor equity, balances the requirements of local, State and Federal historic authorities with the technological improvements required for sustainable design. The building has received LEED Gold certification.
