Governor Raimondo Gets A First-Look Virtual Reality Tour of Edge College Hill

Governor Gina Raimondo & Mayor Jorge Elorza ceremoniously left their mark in the concrete at Edge College Hill, a new construction underway on Canal Street. A long vacant parcel of land, Edge College Hill will house 202 student-centric residential units and first floor commercial space. Both the Governor and the Mayor were able to get a sneak-peek at the finished high-rise through a virtual reality tour of the 15-story building.

“When this project is done,” said Raimondo, “we’ll have hundreds of new apartments and shops anchoring this part of the city, connecting the East Side to the downtown."
